Take Advantage of the Stimulus Package
American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009
The U.S. Congress passed a $787 billion economic stimulus package on February 13, 2009, and President Obama signed the bill into law on February 17th. The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 contains tax incentive for businesses to invest in new equipment.
- Section 179 allows businesses to fully expense up to $250,000.00 of new equipment acquisitions in 2009
- First year depreciation bonus to 50%
